As I sit here and write this, the world outside today is a different place then it was 3 weeks ago. We are all learning to adjust to this new way of life. For some of us that means staying at home with our children and homeschooling, for others it means working from home, and for others not working at all. From the business perspective, we as retailers are learning how we will navigate these unknown times to save our stores, our employees, and our livelihood. That means getting creative, stepping out of our comfort zones, and most importantly doing whatever we can to make sure these trying times do not keep us down. So here we are, building an ecommerce site! This has been a dream for The Address. We have known this was a direction we wanted to go for quite some time, but reality check - building a website is a huge project. It is like starting a whole new business and thankfully we have had our hands too full to take on a project like this. So there is our silver lining, we finally have the time to make it happen.
If you've ever stepped foot in our showroom, you get a feeling of comfort and warmth. We work hard to display the showroom beautifully and cozy so you feel right at home. We didn't just want to throw some pictures up on a website and hope for the best. We want our website to represent us and hopefully give you that same feeling of when you walk into our store, except you don't even need to leave your home. We are blessed to work with an incredible photographer who has photographed worldwide. We wanted the best photos for you to shop from - true colors, actual detail, and no surprises. Shopping online can be deceiving and we wanted to ensure that what you see is what you get. We are also using our showroom to create curated collections for the website. If you know your particular style, we've made it easy for you to head right to where you need to be.
The retail world is still moving and we are going to keep doing everything we need to do to make sure we move with it! We are so thankful to our loyal customers and we hope to gain so many new relationships through this online venture. We appreciate all the creative ways retailers and small business are working their way through this pandemic. We will get through this and come out stronger than ever!
